CANADIAN SAFE BOATING AWARDS FOR OUTSTANDING EFFORTS

 

 

 

 1.1 Safeguarding the Environment: Eco Alkaline batteries
Lionel Lalonde from LEI Electronics  and Bob Gossling, Golden Enviro Products the Eco Alkalie Canadian Distributer accepting their award from Jean Murray, CSBC Chair
 2.1 Special Recognition for Media Outreach winners are Sara and Brent Morrison from the Burnaby Power and Sail Squadron. Accepting the Award from Jean Murray, Chair, CSBC is Joe Gatfield, Chief Commander, Canadian Power and Sail Squadron.
 3.1 Marine Industry Award for the Boating Skills Virtual Trainer. Accepting the award from Jean Murray, Chair CSBC is Bob Brandenstein, (left) National Education Officer, United States Power Squadrons and John Hinksman, (center) Chairman of the Canadian Power and Sail Squadrons Foundation.
4.1  Special Recognition (posthumously):  Raymond John ( Jack ) Kruger. Accepting the award from Jean Murray, CSBC Chair, on behalf of the Kruger family is Shannon Laird from the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary.
5.1  Ontario Power Generation Best Boating Safety Initiative for the CPS - ECP Emergency Equipment Education and Pyrotechnic Disposal Program. Accepting the award on behalf of CPS -ECP is Mike Smith, Director and volunteer co-ordinator of the program.
 6.1 Marine Professional of the Year, Thomas (Ernie) Parolin accepts his award from Jean Murray, CSBC Chair.
7.1  Stearns Rescue of the Year winner Gavin England receives his award from Ezio Sbrizzi, Vice President and General Manager of Coleman Canada manufacturers of Stearns Lifejackets.
 8.1 Media Contribution to Boating Safety: City
Accepting the award from Jean Murray, Chair CSBC is on air reporter, Stella Acquisto
 9.1 Volunteer of the Year Dan Wright, RCMSAR, receives his CASBA award from Jean Murray the Chair of the CSBC
